Surf Industry Unites To Distribute Over $300,000 To Flood Victims on Oahu’s North Shore.

Following the March 2026 Kona Low flooding along Oʻahu's North Shore, HIC brought an alliance of surf brands together to provide hundreds of dollars in free products to those directly affected by the disaster.

Distribution of the clothing, footwear, accessories, and supplies took place on April 4, 2026, at HIC's Billabong Haleʻiwa store. The event included live music and free food from Jorge's Mexican Restaurant in Haleʻiwa. Flood victims from around the island were entitled to $300 worth of products per individual and up to $1,000 per family. In total, more than $300,000 worth of items were distributed to over 250 families in need.

A follow-up event was held on June 27, 2026, focusing specifically on clothing, footwear, and accessories for children.
